  1. Membership Dues - Treasurer, Julie Mueller reported that 7 members still had not paid their dues. Lien filing process will begin on each of these homeowners.
  2. LPHOA Board Meeting minutes of March 14, 2005 were approved by unanimous vote
  3. Communications Committee minutes reviewed, revised and approved
  4. LPHOA Board Meeting minutes of March 22, 2005 were approved by unanimous vote

 

New Business

 

  1. Maintenance Committee Report
    1. Mulch Party scheduled for April 16, 2005
    2. Need to develop a long term plan for South of Detroit trickle channel
    3. Spring color at entrances – after 4/15/05 – color at bridge will be left out
    4. Light out reported in LPII – PSO to be contacted for repair

    1. Tim Linehan to email proposed changes to board members for review and comments

  1. Treasurer
    1. Julie Mueller will verify additional expenses to LPHOA insurance policy are for replacement cost for covered items
    2. Question- Are volunteers covered? Vote postponed for any changes until next mtg.
    3. Review of need for CPA/Accounting Firm to reconcile/review month-to-month transactions of LPHOA finances vs. LPHOA purchase of Quick Books.

                                                              i.      Questions/Discussion – LPHOA avg. debits monthly? – What are advantages of monthly vs. annual review? – Annual taxes? What forms are required?

    1. Action – Postpone purchase of Quick Books – Seek quotes from CPA’s for monthly/annual review costs.
